Nina

I can’t believe how long it has been since I posted something on Nina’s page!!  But this story - I just had to tell!

Well - it took me almost three years to finally cut Nina’s hair.  I had never touched her hair once with a pair of scissors.  I just couldn’t - it was too long with curls and all that blonde.  Then one day it finally hit me…it was long and a mess!  So I finally gave in and took her to my salon (Tuesday, March 16th) and they did an awesome job!  We were all thrilled with the results and Nina did fantastic - I was so surprised and proud of her.  Well…I guessed she liked getting her haircut so much…she gave herself her OWN haircut only just two weeks later on April Fool’s Day!  Yep that is right…she pulled the worst joke on her Mommy!  I was so sad - I think I cried for almost an hour.  It took her almost three years to grow this beautiful hair and in one morning she cut it all up to look like a mullet!  That was on a Thursday and the following day, Friday, April 2nd we went back to my salon and had it cut again.   I hope this is the last time we get it cut in a while.  I think my sytlist did a fantastic job - considering what she had to work with!

Nina will be two on Friday, June 5th, 2009!  Happy Birthday Nina!  Mommy, Daddy and Lucas love you so much.  6/3/2009
