Lucas

Ugh…it has been so long since I have done any posts!  Lucas is growing and learning so much.  He is mastering how to count to 100 and starting to read.  It is wild seeing his brain grow leaps and bounds daily!  The other day we were driving to his dentist appointment and I had to call my co-worker and he asked me who I was talking to and I said my co-worker and then he said…are you talking to a computer?  HA!  Too freaking funny b/c the only thing he knows is that I work on a computer from home!  (4/21/2010)

While his sister maybe turning two…Lucas is turning three and a half today!  And he maybe a handful as well but he is such a sweet little guy and getting so smart.  This morning he woke up and said Mommy… you know what “L” “U” “C” “A” “S” is?  I said I sure do!  Can you believe it…our little man can spell his own name.  And he told us last week he wanted to work on his handwriting so he can write like Maddie (a gal in his classroom).  He also draws everyday with his chalk.  I have included a picture below of a flower he drew on the driveway.  He has also mastered how to draw a cup of coffee, his lightsaber, and robots!

And you note his “rock star” sign picture below!  We have been teaching this to him since he was like one but figuring out how your fingers bend, etc., has been quite interesting. Before getting the rock star sign below…he mastered how to give us the middle finger rock star sign!  It has been so hard for Phillip and I to keep a straight face during the “middle” finger stage!  But finally - the young man figured out the below!  YEAH LUCAS - we love you lots!  (6/3/09)
